LRF-04 · Amplified Noise Limiter and Contoller

The LRF-04 frequency filter sound level limiter-recorder spectrally controls the entire sound chain in octave bands. The unit consists of an integrating-averaging frequency band (octaves) sensor and an attenuator of over 40 dB, which functions by analysing and calculating the power of the octaves in real time, taking full advantage of the insulation of the room and achieving maximum sound pressure without either disturbing the neighbours or modifying the reproduction quality (it is not a compressor).

The LRF-05 frequency filter sound level logger-limiter spectrally controls the entire sound chain in octave bands. The unit consists of an integrating-averaging frequency band (octaves) sensor and an attenuator of over 40 dB, which functions by analysing and calculating the power of the octaves in real time, taking full advantage of the insulation of the room and achieving maximum sound pressure without either disturbing the neighbours or modifying the reproduction quality (it is not a compressor).

The DL100 is the newest EXTERNAL DISPLAY for the limiters / registers: LRF-04, LRF-05, RS-60, LRS-03 and LCA-02; it consists of four 100 mm LED digits where the sound pressure level measured by the limiter / register is displayed.

610 x 314 x 78 mm are the dimensions of the DL100. Its weight is approximately 6 kg. It is very easy to install, just plug it to the mains and to the "External Display" input of the limiter / register.

Thanks to its weather proof design, the DL100 can be installed inside and outside. The bright red light of the displays allows you a perfect reading both in light or dim environments.

The DL100 is perfect for public monitoring of sound pressure levels in noisy activities or as an information point of noise levels.

Connected to the main power supply for the amplification equipment, the Electronic Orange flashes a warning when preset sound levels are exceeded. If the operator doesn't turn the sound down within a preset time, an automatic cutoff kicks in.

PERSONAL NOISE WARNING DEVICE

Scantek, Inc. now offers a new device that notifies individuals when they are exposed to excessive noise. Worn like a badge on or near the shirt pocket, the device will show a hyper-bright light or, optionally, will vibrate when the noise exposure is greater than a selected level (75, 80, 85, or 90 dBA). The meter, meeting Type 2 requirements, has a built in microphone and uses ordinary batteries that last about 80 hours.

This device is affordable and is ideal when machines do not operate all the time or the operator goes from quiet to noisy areas during his or her shift. It eliminates the need to always wear hearing protection, to unnecessarily wear protection, or to leave control to individual judgment.
